Huntington Hospital is seeking an experienced fundraiser to implement a strong, proactive program to secure major, leadership and transformational gifts from a portfolio of 100-125 individuals in support of Huntington Hospital’s mission and strategic goals. Responsible for qualifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding individual donors and prospects, with emphasis on gifts in the $250,000 to $1,000,000+ range. This position requires flexibility of hours.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum five years to seven years of fundraising experience, managing high-level, strategic donor relationships, with demonstrated success and effectiveness in closing six-figure+ gifts. Significant experience working with volunteer leaders and volunteer groups. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, complex fundraising activities simultaneously and coordinate solicitation strategies. Ability to plan and implement a fundraising plan.
Flexibility to attend evening and weekend events; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong written, verbal and presentation skills. High level of creativity, initiative and motivation. Team orientation and willingness to set a leadership example.
